RESERVATION OF SEATS

ADDITIONAL SEATS FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS
11 seats, in addition to the approved intake will be reserved exclusively for foreign students. The distribution in each Specialization will be :
Painting -2, Applied Art-2, Sculpture-1, Printmaking-2, Visual Communication-2 and Art History-2.
All foreign students seeking admission to the College may apply to the Office of the Foreign Students’ Advisor of the University of Delhi,
(Phone No. 27666756) who will recommend their applications to the College after verifying qualifications etc., under the University of Delhi Rules. They will however have to apply on the prescribed Application Form within the stipulated period (between 10th and 30th June,2009) and qualify the Aptitude Test and will not have to compete with General Category students.
On selection, they will have to undergo a mandatory medical examination and deposit copies of the valid travel documents (including the Student’s Visa) in the Office of Foreign Students’ Advisor, University of Delhi.

RESERVATION FOR SCHEDULED CASTE/SCHEDULED TRIBE CANDIDATES

22 and half percent of the total number of seats (15 percent for Scheduled Caste and 7 and half percent for Scheduled Tribe candidates) in each Specialization are reserved subject their qualifying the Aptitude Test. Their merit list will be prepared and declared separately.

RESERVATION FOR WIDOWS AND /OR CHILDREN OF ARMED PERSONNEL/PARA-MILITARY FORCES

5 percent of the total number of seats in each Specialization are reserved for widow and /or children of the Officers and men of the Armed Forces including Para-Military Personnel. On qualifying the Aptitude Test the admission will be as per the order given below:
a) Widows/Children of personnel of Armed/Para-Military forces killed/ disabled in action during hostilities.
b) Widows/Children of personnel of Armed/Para-Military forces or disabled while on duty in peace time.
c) Widows/Children of personnel of Armed/Para-Military forces killed or disabled while not on duty.
d) Children of personnel of Armed/Para-Military forces of ex-servicemen.
e) Children of Serving personnel of Armed/Para-Military forces.
